What Does It Mean To You?

Happy belated Canada Day!

On that note, I have a question for your consideration.

What does it mean to be Canadian?

For some, it might be something that is simply inherited.  For others, like myself, it might be something that is chosen when citizenship oaths are taken.

With all the various political happenings, being Canadian may either mean something that you are proud of…or not.

It might mean to you a piece of geography. It might mean a culture, and all the things that go with it, including Canada Day celebrations. It might mean other aspects of this great northern society.

Today I encourage you to consider what it means to you personally?   And now I’ll take it one step further and tie it to my profession.

What role does your hearing play in being a Canadian?

In summary, I simply want to leave the question hanging.

Think about it, chat about it, and let me know your thoughts if you get a chance.  I’d love to hear your take on it!
